Founder Story

Built because the question kept me awake.

If I was unconscious in a hospital tomorrow — in a country where nobody knew my name — who would call my family? Who would find my insurance? Who would know about my allergies?

24

The realisation

Living abroad, far from family. Realising that if something happened tomorrow, a hospital might not know who to call, which insurer to contact, or what medical conditions matter.

Building IDHaven

Designing an emergency identity system built on trust — not technology for its own sake. Encryption, audit trails, and time-limited access as foundations, not afterthoughts.

26

Beta launch

Opening to travellers worldwide. Free during beta. Partnering with hostels, hotels, and coworking spaces to help people stay emergency-ready abroad.

Mission

When you can't speak for yourself, IDHaven ensures responders can identify you, contact the right people, and access critical information — securely, traceably, and on your terms.

Vision

A world where every traveller abroad carries an emergency identity as naturally as they carry a passport — trusted by hospitals, insurers, and families worldwide.
